Storm Emma update

March 08, 2018

The clean up process in Holyhead Marina remains ongoing with environmental issues a priority, in particular the containment and removal of vast amounts of polystyrene from the pontoon floatation units.

The severe weather has left destruction in its wake with the majority of craft sunk in the western part of the marina, with steel pontoon frames and other marina debris on top of them. The marina itself sustained severe damage, with part of the sea front promenade undermined and part of the eastern side of the marina car park rock armouring washed away.

The Pantaenius UK Claims Manager, Simon Firth will be in the area on Friday 9th March 2018. Should you wish to meet with him please get in touch on 01752 223656 or email
