The Pantaenius Travel Insurance Scheme is tailored specifically for boat owners normally residing in the UK.

It provides equally good cover whether used for the family’s annual holiday, ski-trips, business trips, or short or long-term sailing. It can also be used for professional crew, but does not cover professional liabilities.

Annual Multi-Trip travel insurance provides a policy covering any number of individual trips during a twelve month period. The standard individual trip length of 31 days is extended to 60 days for sailing trips and can be further extended to 90 or 120 days for an additional premium.

Single Trip travel insurance may be taken out for a trip of between 9 days and 18 months, so short breaks and extended yacht rallies can all be covered. If you require medical expenses for a trip exceeding eighteen months, please take a look at the Long Term Sailor Plan.

Cover can be arranged for individuals, couples or families and will accommodate adults up to 75 years of age. Many medical conditions can be covered by an increased premium.

Note: No cover will be in place until your application is accepted and the premium has been received. If you are renewing a Pantaenius Annual Multi-Trip policy it must be processed before the renewal date. If any applications and/or payments are received after this time, cover will only be valid from the date of receipt.

Please note that we can only offer this cover to UK residents, and premiums must be paid in full prior to commencement of cover. We regret that instalment facilities are not available for Travel Insurance.
